name a example of natural energy source
Solar energy from the sun.
Geothermal energy from heat inside the earth.
Wind energy.
Biomass from plants.
Hydropower from flowing water.
what is the difference between non-renewable and renewable
renewable resources can naturally replenish themselves while nonrenewable resources cannot.

what is the process of carbonation
Carbonation is the chemical reaction of carbon dioxide to give carbonates, bicarbonates, and carbonic acid.
types of mass movement
1.soil creep
mudflow
landslide
rock fall
what is soil creep ,A mudflow, land slide and rock fall
1.Soil creep is a very slow movement, occurring on very gentle slopes because of the way soil particles repeatedly expand and contract in wet and dry periods. When wet, soil particles increase in size and weight, and expand at right angles.
2.A mudflow, also known as mudslide or mud flow, is a form of mass wasting involving fast-moving flow of debris and dirt that has become liquified by the addition of water. Such flows can move at speeds ranging from 3 meters/minute to 5 meters/second.
3.A landslide is defined as the movement of a mass of rock, debris, or earth down a slope. Landslides are a type of “mass wasting,” which denotes any down-slope movement of soil and rock under the direct influence of gravity.
4.Rockfalls occur where a source of rock exists above a slope steep enough to allow rapid downslope movement of dislodged rocks by falling, rolling, bouncing, and sliding. Rockfall sources include bedrock outcrops or boulders on steep mountainsides or near the edges of escarpments such as cliffs, bluffs, and terraces.

what is erosion
erosion is the breaking down of a landscape
what is deposition
deposition is the transportation of a eroded material
what dose a cirque look like
it is a lake with 3 natural walls around it shaped as a circle
what are 2 impacts of glaciation in Galway
there are a lot of mountains it eroded the landscape
the instruments used to measure weather and there units
thermometer measures temperature ( degreese celsius)
rain gauge to measure percipitation (millimetres)
barometer to measure atmospheric pressure (millibars)
wind vane to measure wind (KM/PR)
