Why does the scalp bleed profusely when injured?
A
Due to:
1️⃣ rich blood supply (highly vascularized)
2️⃣ There’s rich adherence of blood vessels to dense connective tissue

What happens when the scalp is injured?
A
It result into black eye ( periorbital hematoma) which occur due to accumulation of blood because of the space between the loose areolar tissue and periosteum
