What is a Satellite State?
A country under the increasing influence of a superpower (USSR) and there agenda is also set by the USSR.

The warsaw uprising

The USSR conveniently waited until the Nazis had crushed polish protests to help warsaw.
What did the crushing of the Polish protests ensure and eventually lead to?
It ensured that there was no independent Polish government and eventually led to a communist leader being brought in to Warsaw.
What was step 2 of the Satellite control steps? What were there no more of in these countries?
USSR secured control over Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. No more free and fair elections.

A coup in czechoslovakia

It was an attempt to restore the long lasting democracy after WWII. Puppet leader “Klement Gottwald” was installed

There was a divide between a free “Western” Europe and an “Eastern” Europe ruled by the “tyranny” of communism was forming

A cruel and oppressive government or rule

They led to Raised tensions/increased suspicion, Warnings issued by either sides and shaped the policy of the cold war.
