When a persons wishes cannot be given e.g.in a coma
But the decision to end their life is taken

This is a statement made by a person which outlines their wishes should they be in a coma or terminally ill (not legally recognised in the UK)
What is active euthnasia?
Where actions are taken to end a life e.g. A lethal injection
What is passive euthnasia?
Where actions that could prolong life are stopped in order to hasten a persons death e.g. Whithdrawing life suspenders
What is self-determination?
The right and ability to make decisions for yourself in life
