What does it mean if money is a medium of exchange?
We can use it to buy goods and services by trading it for these goods and services.
What does it mean if money is a unit of account?
This means it is a standard measure of how much goods and services are worth.
What decision does the unit of account allow us to do?
Help make decisions on whether something is fairly priced or worth buying and how much of something we can afford to buy.
What does it mean if money is a store of value?
This means it holds value over time. The value of money doesn’t change quickly.
What does it mean if money is a mean of payment?
People pay for goods and services with money.
How does money show how we have developed?
Money represents the way in which societies have become more complex and organized over time.
