Social Cohesion is used to describe the willingness of members of a society to cooperate with each other in order to survive and prosper

Laws provide guidelines on what behaviour is acceptable and non acceptable. They set expectations and establish a framework in which people live, set boundaries for behaviour and allows individuals to make choices about how they live

It is the responsibility of individuals to ensure they are aware of the laws and abide by them. Individuals can help to achieve social cohesion by assisting the police with their investigation , reporting a crime or using the legal system
