Q

Relationship With Christianity:

A
  • People of the book (Christians and Jews)
  • Had to pay taxes
  • Believed Christians are polytheistic because of the trinity

Big Differences:

  • Muslims cannot have a personal relationship with Allah like we can with God
  • Salvation of works
  • They though Jesus was just a prophet
  • They don’t believe he was crucified, they believe that Allah called someone to look like Jesus and be crucified
  • Blessing comes through Ishmael

Problems With This:

  • The empty tomb
  • Their beliefs mean that God would have deliberately deceived them
