How did Hitler rise to power?
Hitler had an opportunity to show how good he was at recovering Germany, and to prove the Weimer Government is rubbish during the Great Depression. The public began to trust the Nazi’s and understand there policies.
How many Germans were unemployed?
6.6 Million, they joined extreme communist parts. (Mainly young men)
What is it called when money becomes useless as you get so much?
Hyperinflation.
When did the stock market crash?
October 1929
When did the Nazis win the vote in elections? And by what percent did they win?
July 1932, 37%

Paul von Hindenburg
What changes towards Women did Hitler make?
- Much harder to get a job. (Unemployment rose quickly).
- Some jobs (judges, teachers, civil servants etc) were banned.
- Women cannot sit in the Reichstag because Hitler thought they were incapable of thinking logically or reasoning objectively.
Why did Hitler want Women to stay at home?
To look after their husbands - a more traditional way.
What were boys and girls trained to become?
Boys were trained to become soldiers. Girls were prepared to become wives and mothers.
Why did many join this youth organisation?
Peer pressure or because of the ‘fun’ activities.
Why did Hitler make all these changes?
He wanted Germany to be perfect. He wanted next generation to be like him. Ayran race.
Which minority groups were persecuted in Nazi Germany?
Homosexuals, Jews, people of colour, disabled, Slavs, Jehovah’s Witnesses (v strong Christians), Sint and Roma gypsies.
