- Dynamic Leader = unite people
- State control of individuals = demands loyalty
- Methods of Enforcement = police terror; censorship
- Modern Technology = advanced military weapons; mass communication to spread propaganda
- State Control of Society = religion; education
- Dictatorship = exercises absolute authority
- One-party rule = dominates the government
