The Renaissance was the re-birth of interest in the learning of Ancient Greece and Rome.

The Renaissance started because of :
* discovering ancient Greek and ancient Roman ruins, *Italy’s strategic trading position brought wealth and then so the Italians paid for patrons
*new ideas from traders
*the invention of the printing press
