What part of Abraham’s life shows that the covenant is important to Abraham?

A

Abraham wanted to prove his faith to God. Abraham showed God that he would obey every word, as Abraham was asked to kill his son. Abraham obeyed the command and God stopped Abraham just before Abraham was about to kill his son. God also promised Abraham a son named Isaac that caused the covenant.
