Explain the Police High Performance Framework (PHPF)?
A
- The PHPF helps us foster a style of leadership where leaders are focused on enabling their people to be the best they can be, and giving them the mandate to make a difference.

- It is delivered through 5 frameworks:

Explain F1: Strategy
A
- Enables leaders to connect their teams to Our Business by clarifying our purpose in Police and the outcomes we each need to deliver.
- Using the Strategic Performance Template (SPT) and Group Purpose Statements, leaders connect their teams purpose and activities with Our Business.
- As part of the end-to-end PHPF performance management process, a person’s SPT becomes their performance agreement that leaders should regularly discuss in terms of how they’re progressing.

A
- Helps us build a high performance culture we need to deliver Our Business.
- A shift in ‘mind-set’ will move us away from a prescription-based culture to one that is principle based, where leaders encourage the qualities inherent in top performing teams, and enable their people to make a difference.

A
- Equips our leaders with the tools to help us deliver on our purpose in Police.

A
- Equips each of us with the tools to perform to our potential in our roles.
- Capability conversations form part of our Development Plan, which leaders should regularly discuss with members of their team in terms of how they’re progressing.

- Enables us to have more meaningful conversations about our performance, contribution and ongoing development.
- The Performance Management Framework should act as the basis of a leaders monthly performance conversations with their direct reports.
