It is translate as I have verbed, or You have verbed, or he has verbed.
How is the perfect tense formed?
It is formed from the present form of the verb to have, and then the past participle?
How is the past participle formed?
For -er verbs, you replace the -er with -é
For -ir verbs, you replace the -ir with -i
For -re verbs, you replace the -re with -u
What are some irregular forms of the past participle?
avoir - eu dire - dit être - été faire - fait boire - bu lire - lu mettre - mis pouvoir - pu prendre - pris voir

What verbs use ‘to be as opposed to ‘to have’ for their perfect form?

How do you form the perfect tense with ‘to be’?
You form it by writing the conjugation of ‘to be’ followed by the past participle. However, if the subject is female, you add an e to the end of the participle, and if it is plural, you add an s.
