what was the german revolution
a civil conflict in the German Empire at the end of the First World War that resulted in the replacement of the German federal constitutional monarchy with a democratic parliamentary republic that later became known as the Weimar Republic.
describe what article 48 was and why did this make the weimar doomed from the start?
it meant that the president could suspend constitution in an emergency. He could make laws and keep Chancellor in office without the support of the reichstag. This made the weimar doomed because it completely ruined the democracy of the government and made it very easily changable into a dictatorship as one person could override everyone and make new laws.

1) the president could pass laws by himself in an emergency so this could be abused and make the country a dictatorship
2) as each party got the percentage of seats as they did votes it means there would be a lot of disagreement
