In 9th or 8th century B.C. as a series of small farmsteads on a group of hills overlooking River Tiber.
Where did the first “Romans” bury their dead at that time?
The marshy valleys between the hills.
Were the bodies cremated or inhumed?
Both.
How did the Romans’ houses look like then? How do we know?
They are round huts with thatched roofs. The construction was used for their urns (hut-urns).
