A
A systematic method used to study the mind by break ing up conscious awareness into basic structures of thoughts, images and sensations.

What did Wundt do?
A
- All introspections were recorded under strictly controlled conditions using the same stimulus every time.
- Same standardised instructions were issued to all participants and allowed procedure to be repeated in the exact same way every single time.
- Wundts work created a new, scientific psychology now distinct from philosophy.
