He is a man of such resource that even though he were in chains of iron, he would find some means of getting home again.
Lion, stalks, strength, wind and rain, heroism
he looked like some lion of the wilderness that stalks about exulting in his strength and defying both wind and rain.
Noman, fraud, force, heroism
Noman is killing me by fraud; no man is killing me by force.

If no man is attacking you, you must be ill.
Device, shewed, dog, fawn, panting, ground, heroism
There was a device that shewed a dog holding a spotted fawn between his fore paws, watching as it lay panting upon the ground.
Dream, eagle, mountain, curved beak, neck, killed, heroism
I dreamed that a great eagle came swooping down from a mountain, and dug his curved beak into the neck of each of them till he had killed them all.
Athena, Odysseus, bound, wind, relationship
Athena resolved to help Odysseus, so she bound the ways of all the winds except one.
Sweet sleep, eyelids, lose memories, relationship
Athena shed sweet sleep upon his eyes, closed his eyelids, and made him lose all his memories of his sorrows.
Protected, troubles? relationship
Have I not protected you throughout in all your troubles?
Spoke, shed sleep, relationship
As she spoke, she shed sweet sleep over his eyes.
Spears, bade, no affect, relationship
They threw spears as he bade them, but Athena made them all to no affect.
