Posters - Images of Hitler and Aryan families.
Newspapers - Goebbels shut down all but Pro-Nazi.
Radio/book/films - Destroyed all books and films believed to be anti-Nazi and radios only broadcast Hitler’s speeches over and over again.
Who was Himmler?
Himmler was the head of all police in Nazi Germany and controlled people through terror.
What was Concordat?
The Concordat was a formal agreement between the Catholic Church and the Nazi Party which stated that the Catholic Church would not interfere with the Nazi Party. In return the Nazi Party would not touch the Catholic Church.
What was the Reich Church?
The Reich Church was set up and controlled by the Nazis. Pastors had to swear an oath of loyalty to Hitler.
What was the Confessional Church?
The Confessional Church was set up by Martin Niemoller to oppose Nazism and as a result he was sent to a Concentration Camp in 1938.
Who were the Edelweiss Pirates?
The Edelweiss Pirates were a group that opposed the Nazi Party made up of working class youths. They believed in freedom and hunted down Nazi member and beat them up. The Nazis sent them to Concentration Camps.

Sophie Scholl, Hans Scholl and Christopher Probst.
How were the methods of opposition between the Edelweiss Pirates and the WGR different?
The Edelweiss Pirates were quite violent in that they sometimes hunted down Nazi sympathisers and beat them up along with vandalising. However, the WRG were peaceful and handed out leaflets to the public.

1944 and was led by Claus Von Stauffenburg.
Why did they want to kill Hitler?
They wanted to kill Hitler because his SS were disliked by the soldiers and they did not like the way they treated the people on the Eastern front.
