In charge of Nazi Propaganda.
What was the Concordat?
An agreement made between the Catholic Church and Hitler that the Catholic Church would not interfere with politics and Hitler would leave the church alone.
What was the Reich Church?
The protestant church was taken under Nazi control and the pastors had to swear loyalty to Hitler.
What was the Confessional Church?
A Church set up by Martin Niemoller to oppose Nazism.
Who were the Edelweiss Pirates?
Gangs of working class youth from different cities around Germany. They opposed Nazism and the war.
Who led the White Rose Group?
Led by Sophie Scholl, Hans Scholl and Christoph Probst.
How were the methods of opposition between these Edelweiss Pirates and the WRG different?
Pirates used violence, by beating up members of the Hitler Youth.
WRG handed out leaflets against the Nazis and wrote graffiti.
