What does a Monotheistic religion mean?
It means that it teaches that there is only 1 God
What does it mean when they say God is eternal?
God is outside space and time without beginning or end.
What does God existing outside space and time mean?
He is transcendent, he is above all created things.
Immanent meaning
God is present with all people
What can God demonstrate when he’s immanent?
Can demonstrate his benevolence towards humans as well as, at times, his judgement.
How is God shown as personal in the bible?
Shown to be in a relationship with people through prayer, visions and the presence of the holy spirit
How is God seen as a fair and rightful judge?
His perfect nature and omniscience.
What does the church see Gods characteristics as?
God as the judge
What does protestants see Gods characteristics as?
Forgiving and loving

You shall have no other gods before me… You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
