how do you get your period?
when the blood lining in the uterus is shed after it hasn’t had an embryo embed itself in the lining. Blood will pass through from the uterus and out from the vagina.
what happens when the blood lining is shed?
the blood lining in the uterus will start to build up again and form a thick spongey layer ready for an embryo
what happens on day 14 of your period?
ovulation occurs and the egg releases from the ovary to the oviduct and begins to ripen and can live for around five days.
when is a woman most likely to get pregnant?
when the egg is released from the ovaries`
what happens on day 11-18/ stage four of your period?
the blood lining of the uterus remains thick and spongey awaiting a fertilized egg.
what happens if the egg is fertilized?
the egg will fuse with the sperm cell, form a zygote that will go through cell division to create an embryo which will embed itself into the uterus lining.
what happens if the egg is not fertilized?
the uterus lining that has been building up will be shed and a woman’s period cycle will start over.
