What is the Major Method?
The Major Method is a mnemonic device that assigns phonic sounds to numbers so numbers can be turned into words and then turned into visualizations.
What is a mnemonic device?
A Mnemonic Device is any technique to help you remember something. For example, a memory palace or the major method.
What are the 3 rules of the for coming up with words for numbers?
- Consonants get substituted by the number.
- Vowels and the letters w, h, y and x are ignored.
- Double letters are disregarded. So ss equals 0.
