Q

Explain the process of the where your breath goes in your lungs

A

The air you breathe in goes through the trachea then splits into 2 tubes called the bronchi (singular bronchus) the bronchi is split into several smaller tubes called bronchioles. The bronchioles finally end up going to small air bags called alveoli where the gas exchange takes place.

Q

how is oxygen and Co2 exchanged?

A

The blood comes back next to the alveoli this blood contains a lot of Co2 and little oxygen. The Co2 then diffuses into the alveoli from a high concentration to a low concentration and the blood diffuses into the blood stream from the alveoli from a high concentration to a low concentration.
