A
-Nocturnal stays cool when awake at night and sleeping when the temperatures are hottest.
-Larger ears, hear predators and increase surface area to lose heat from.
-Padded paws, protect from burning ground.
-Pale fur for camoflauge.

A
-Very wide and spread out roots near the surface to absorb as much rain as possible when it rains.
-Large, fleshy stems for storing water as it doesn’t rain much in hot deserts.
-Thick, waxy skin to reduce transpiration which is water loss.
-Spines instead of leaves to reduce water loss and prevent animals eating it.
