1. 2014- ban on registration of new churches to prevent radicalization and extremism
2. Resulted in introduction of regulations that were highly contested.
3. 2022- lifted ban, only requirement is now heads have post graduate education in the faith they seek to register
4. Relf regulation, but formed the inter-religious council of Kenya (IRCK)- SDA, EAK, NCCK, KCCB, SCKM etc.
5. Need for collaboration with the gov on with the different umbrella bodies of the religious organizations in Kenya.
