everybody gets the same.
what is a socialist?
production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
what is collectivism?
common ownership - everyone puts in, everyone gets out. E.g. NHS

was too centralist, always contradicted himself.

ASBOs - tough on crime and the causes of crime, introduced a national minimal wage and conserving resources before investing more into key public services.
why old to new labour?
electoral support for labour fell, party spilt and leavers formed new party (SDP) and there was a change in the nature of the British society.
what is new labour?
communitarianism & the state does not look after the people - it facilitates individuals who want to do so.
