What was it made up of and why did they join?
They were ex-soldiers who were told to go home because of the Treaty of Versailles so they didn’t like the Weimar Republic
The ex-soldiers were called the Freikorps but why did the government want them to leave and why were they worried about them?
They were told to leave the army had to be reduced to 100,000 and the government were worried because the angry ones were growing in numbers
What did the Freikorps do after they were told to leave?
Rebelled against the Weimar Republic
How did the German citizens help stop the Kapp Putsch?
They stopped working so there was no transport for the Freikoprs.
How was the Kapp Putsch serious?
It was the start of the new far right nationalists movement
