Stratified epithelial tissue

Stratum Corneum, stratum lucidum, stratum granulosum, stratum spinosum and stratum basale (aka germinativum)
What are keratinised cells? And what protein do they contain?
Dead cells that contain keratin protein
What layer in the epidermis are cells being produced by mitosis?
Stratum germinativum (basale)
What layer of skin determines the skins plumpness, elasticity and smoothness?
The dermis
What are the 2 basic glands within the skin?
Sebaceous and sudoriferous glands
What to melanocyte cells produce?
Melanin
