The implications of anthropogenic biomes to the functioning of the world's ecosystems Flashcards

Q
Give an overview of the implications of anthropogenic biomes
A
Anthromes impact the ecological balances that existed in the original ecosystems prior to human alteration. The flow of energy through food chains and food webs will be greatly altered as habitats are changed or removed, resulting in individual species numbers changing.
The wider effects of climate change brought about by activites within anthromes has altered the areal extent of habitats.
