What was different about this Blitz?
Millitary and industrial targets were not targeted, however civilians were.
Why were civilians targeted?
Because the Germans thought that intensive bombing, day after day, would wreck British morale

Liverpool was targeted as the most likely port for the U.S bringing supplies to Britain

Roads and railway lines were affected and gas, electricity and water supplies also
What did the Ministry of Information do?
They produced propaganda to convince people in Britain and Germany that morale had never been higher
Was the Blitz successful?
No- it failed with its main objective: people did not turn against the war in large amounts
