Why was Germany’s economy failing
the treaty of versailles that germany agreed to after WW1 led to them having to pay a very large fine for the damages of the war(reparation) and having their army reduced which then lead to hyperinflation(when your currency loses value) so things such as a loaf of bread costed what would now be around 1000 pounds
What led to the increase of anti-semitism
Through Hitler’s aggressive opinions on jews he blamed them for the loss of the war and stated that germany would he great again without them
What was the law for the protection of the German blood
the law that banned jews from marrying a german to protect the german(pure) blood
What was the “Reich citizenship law”
the reich citizenship laws stated that jewd could not be citizens meaning that they couldn’t vote and had no political status

The laws which were passed down on september 15 1935 which were the “Reich Citizenship Law” and the “Law to protect German blood and honour”
What was kristallnacht
kristallnacht occurred from november 9th-10th in 1938 and during the night jewish stores were robbed and destroyed with help from the police
Why did kristallnacht occur
kristallnacht occured because a german diplomat named Ernst vom Rath was killed by a jewish-polish student named Herschel Grynszpan on 9th Novemeber 1938. When hitler got the news he was very angry at jews which sparked the night which came to be known as kristallancht or ‘crystal night’ referring to all the broken glass on the next day

The nazi legislation was a set of anti semitic laws that seperated jews from german society

The final solution was the nazi decision to attempt to murder every Jew in Europe, either by working them to death or execution

Specific areas of cities and towns that were separated from the rest of the population

- Jews cannot be in any job to do with the law(1938)
