The Hip Flashcards

1
Q

Vasculature of the Hip

A
  • Femoral artery branches from the external iliac artery and runs anteriorly on the hip
  • Gives rise to profunda femoris (deep branch)

Profunda femoris gives rise to
- Medial circumflex artery
