Keeps blood circulating in blood cells around the body.

What does it include?
It has 4 and includes valves and blood vessels
What is the septum?
A strong macular wall.
What does the septum do?
Separates the Valves and blood vessels and it can deal with oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood simultaneously

What are the 4 chambers called?
The Atrium and Vnetricle
Describe the Atria?
Has a thin wall
What is the Atria’s function?
Pumps blood to the Ventricles assisted by gravity.
What does the Right Atria do?
Receives blood from the head and arms through superior vana cava and from lower body regions, the inferior vena cava gets it.
What does the Left Atria do?
Receives blood from left and right lung through Pulmonary veins(2 in each lung)
Where do the Ventricles receive blood?
The two Atria’s
Describe the walls of the Ventricles?
Thick
What is the effect of the walls being too thick and muscular?
It bulges out towards the left side of the chest cavity
