Healthy eating is the pratice that result from choosing adequate diet in the corrt proportion and eating of food according to season.
healthy feeding practice include the following
Eating adequate diet and balanced diet
eating plenty of fruits and vegetable
avoid excessive eating of cabohydrates
dont just eat any food you find
eat little or no meat
dont eat in an uhygenic environment
washing hands before and after eating

Importance of healhy feeding habits
It prevents you from getting disease
It makes you look better
It gives you energy
Food additives
These are substances deliberatly added to food to iimprove the apperance, odour, texture, flavour, nutrition, value, aroma, taste and to preserrve the food.
There are 2 groups of food additives: natural, artifical
Natural additives
These are used directly from plant without subjecting them to any individual processing they include ginger, onion , garlic etc
Artifical additives
They are extractive from plants and produce industially after some processing they are chemically modified to suit specfic objective e.g cinnamon.
uses of food additives
They are used to improve the state of food.
They add to the nutritive value of food.
They preserve food
They improve the apperance ,odour, and texture of food.
They aslo improve the flavour and aroma of food.
