A

-women continued to take an active role in public activities->there was little progress in achieving the right to vote nationally
-economic diversification and expansion offered more opportunities for jobs->needed an educated workforce->women made progress in education
-position of workers didn’t improve much->wasn’t helped by the violent actions of some strikers
