He was the son of Ascanius. His name means born in the woods. He began the Silvian dynasty which ruled Alba Longa for perhaps 300 years.

He was an Alban prince. He seized the throne from his older brother Numitor. He then murdered his nephews and appointed his niece Rhea Silva, so that she could bear no future rival heirs to the throne. He was assasinated by Numitor.
Numitor
He had his throne taken way by his younger brother Amulius. His grandsons were Romulus and Remus.
Rhea Silva
She was Amulius niece. She was the priestess of vesta and the mother of Romulus and Remus. She had the twins with the god Mars.
Romulus
was Rhea Silva’s son and his father was the god mars. They helped their grandfather Numitor assassinate Amulius. He was killed by his brother Remus.
Remus
Was Rhea Silva’s son and his father was the god mars. They helped their grandfather Numitor assassinate Amulius. He killed his brother Romulus.
Faustulus
Was the kings shepherd, he discovered the wolf licking the twins, and took them home to his wife.
