Shahadah means faith, Muslims recite the creed as many times a day possible

Salat means prayer. Muslims pray 5 times a day facing Mecca
What does Zakat mean and what do you do
Zakat means charity Muslims must give 2.5% of their annual savings to charity
What does Sawm mean and what do you do
Sawm means fasting, Muslims fast during daylight hours at certain times of the year for eg. Ramadan
What does hajj mean and what do you do
Haji means pilgrimage, all Muslims are obliged to go to Mecca on pilgrimage once in their lives, to walk the footsteps of prophet Muhammad and is known as the hajj
