After 80 years in flight, in the year 1259 the outriders landed on Enoch and set up base camp and started the process of bringing down the pods with the most necessary people and gear and tools.

Electronics, which did much of the manual labor for the people, the flore’s engine, which powered the city’s electronics and the cryopods which held the unawakened people.

They were fed by breeding crickets that were made into flour that was made into protein rich bread.

When the anomaly storms came.
What was the most stupid mistake that humanity made?
They relied on electronics for everything. And then the anomaly storms destroyed almost all of their electronics.
What happened to the Flores engine?
It was damaged by an anomaly storm and then it broke down permanently a few months later.
What happened as a result of the Flores engine breaking down?
All power to the city was cut out, and then all the sleepers in the crypods had to be awakened because the backup batteries were about to run out of power.
