1st Amendment
Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.
2nd Amendment
Right to keep and bear arms in order to maintain a well regulated militia.
3rd Amendment
No quartering of soldiers.
4th Amendment
Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures.
5th Amendment
Right to due process of law, freedom from self-incrimination, double jeopardy.
6th Amendment
Rights of accused persons, e.g., right to a speedy and public trial.
7th Amendment
Right of trial by jury in civil cases.
8th Amendment
Freedom from excessive bail, cruel and unusual punishments.
9th Amendment
All the rights not listed in the Constitution belong to the people, not the government.
10th Amendment
The Federal Government only has those powers delegated in the Constitution.
