What is the Endocrine system?
A
-The purpose of the endocrine system is to regulate cell or organ activity within the body and control vital physiological processes in the body
-The endocrine system releases hormones (c from glands into the bloodstream which then bind with specific receptors in order to regulate the activity of cells or organs in the body.

What does the hypothalamus do?
A
The hypothalamus is connected to the pituitary gland and is responsible for stimulating or
controlling the release of hormones from the pituitary gland. Therefore, the hypothalamus
is the control system which regulates the endocrine system.
