USA- Roosevelt: Roosevelt wanted Europe to be democratic, but a capitalist democracy, with different parties working to win the public’s votes.
Britain- Churchill: Churchill wanted Germany to be rebuilt.
USSR- Stalin: Stalin wanted Germany to pay reparations, to discourage them from starting another war. He also wanted it to be democratic, but a Communist democracy. Stalin believed only Communism truly represented the workers.

Roosevelt was the key figure holding the Grand Alliance together. He believed the USA could work together with the USSR through the UN after the war came to an end.
What was the main difference between Roosevelt and Truman?
Roosevelt was much more trusting of Stalin than Truman and Churchill. This increased tension between the Allies.
