Form
A related succession of Chords
Harmony
The way music sounds as a result of the way melodies and harmonies are used and how they are combined. Exemple of textures : monophonic, Homophonic (or chordal) and polyphonic.
Texture
the combination of sounds and silences in the same or different lengths
Rhythm
A succession of single tones, with rhythm, forming a recognisable musical idea.
Melody
The quality of sound that distinguishes one instrument or voice from another. Tone color is determined by the relative prominence of overtones.
Tone color
Three or more notes played at the same time.
Chord
