The founder of the Mongol Empire who ruled from 1206-1227. His title was called Temujin

An empire located in Eurasia that spread out through out Asia with their military expansion. Known for horse riding and shooting arrows
Il Khan
A descendant of Gengis Khan that ruled over the Iraq and Iran area.
Dhow
The fishing and trade ship used by Arabian people during the Indian Ocean Trade. Used the Monsoons to get around.
Indian Ocean Trade
A trade route that was based on the Indian Ocean. There were many countries involved and was responsible for creating many heterogeneous cultures.
Monsoon
Seasonal wind around the Indian Ocean. Arab traders would ride the Monsoon winds around to trade. iT was very practical and somewhat safe because you could estimate when the wind would come.
The Delhi Sultanate
An empire in the Indian peninsula that lasted five dynasties. Was mainly Muslim with Turkish and arab people residing. It was created through Muslim Invaders
Yuban Empire
The empire created by Kublai Khan that is located in China and Siberia. Was part of the great Mongo l Empire
Swahili Coast
East African shores of the Indian Ocean between the Horn of Africa and the Zambezi River.
Yi
Ruled Korea from the fall of the Koryo kingdom to the colonization of Korea by Japan.
Gujarat
A famous region in Western India known for manufacturing and trade
Kamikaze
A divine wind that the Japanese claimed blew the Mongols away from their land

The ruler of the Mali Empire. Helped Mali become economically wealthy in the Mediterranean
