A
Vibrates when a sound wave strikes it.

Amplify the sound as they vibrate an they make the fluid inside the cochlea vibrate.

A
Tiny hairs vibrate and produce the electrical signal that is sent to the brain.

A
This carries the electrical signal to the brain.

Collects the sound waves so they travel down the ear canal.
