Q

Organs involved in the Dygestive system

A

The digestive system is made up of the gastrointestinal tract (GI) Tract.

While the GI tract is a crucial component it’s supported by several accessory organs that play vital roles in digestion.

Hollow organs: Hollow organs are tube-like structures that form a continuous pathway through the body. They include:

Mouth
Esophagus
Stomach
Small intestine
Large intestine
Anus
Solid organs are not part of the continuous pathway but play essential roles in digestion. They include:
Liver
Pancreas
Gallbladder
