Q

Did people like the changes that were being made to the English Church and why?

A

I don’t think that people liked the church. One of the changes people didn’t like was that the church ales are to be stopped. People didn’t like this change because a lot of people would like the church ales. A quote from this woman in Bath shows how she feels about this change “ he is taken all the pleasure of the Church and left just a hard, cold, boring shell.” Seen from this quote they definitely don’t like the changes being made
