A

The zone where the birth rare exceeds the death rate and as a result the population expands

What are the problems with the DTM?

A

1) It assumes that all countries will go through the same process of development which the UK went trough.
2) Can be very difficult to place a country If they are near the boundary.
3) will need long term adaptation as nations become increasingly developed and move towards a stage 6.
