Revolution
A radical change in the established order. It is a sudden, extreme or complete change
Imperialism
This is when a country extends its power into other territories for economic or political gain.
Nationalism
This is an ideology that emphasizes loyalty, devotion, or allegiance to a nation or nation-state and holds that such obligations outweigh other individual or group interests.
Decolonization
This refers to ‘writing back’ against the ongoing colonialism and colonial mentalities that permeate all institutions and systems of government
Communism
This is a political and economic system that seeks to create a classless society in which the major means of production, such as mines and factories, are owned and controlled by the public.
Conflict
A conflict is a struggle and a clash of interest, opinion, or even principles.
Nationalist
A person who strongly identifies with their own nation and vigorously supports its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.
Liberator
A person who liberates a person or place from imprisonment or oppression.
Dictator
A ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained control by force.
