What are Statutes?
Laws made by parliament

Formed by Members of Parliament, the party with majority seats forms the government

-to protect reginal and minority interests

What are Federal Statutes?
To introduce, debate and approve laws
What are the 3 readings a bill receives? House of Commons
-Read aloud and introduce ( no debate )
-Debating principles and ideas then the bill is rediscussed

What is the role of the Senate when it comes to making a bill?
Bill will receive 3 more readings then the Senate will decide if they will amend or reject any bill

What is the Committee of a Whole?
A temporary group that will review each part or clause of bill in detail, they will ask questions or pose challenges

The date of which it officially comes into force, Proclamation date
What are Regulations?
Can be passed and amended and contain detailed rules and administrated matters that may require changes from time to time. Regulations are designated to be implemented and deal with annual updated

Describes the rights and duties which prohibits certain behavior or activities
What are Procedural Rules ( power of officer )
