A

The job of congress is to discuss bills and decide whether to pass them or not into law. They can also levy and collect taxes, declare war, coin money, and create and pay for an army.

The judicial branch consists of The supreme court which is the highest court in the federal system, the supreme court consist of 9 supreme judges who are each appointed by the president. There are also the Courts of Appeal which are intermediate level in the federal courts, and district courts which are the lowest level in the federal courts

What is the power and jobs of the Supreme court?

A

The supreme court’s main purpose is to interpret the law and defend the constitution. Often hearing cases of lower federal courts to assure that law follows the constitution. The powers of the supreme court consist of
-Judicial review, which allows them to interpret the constitution
-Original jurisdiction, allows them to view cases that haven’t been tried
by lower courts.
-Final says, their decisions of justices stay final
